Fluves provides end-to-end solutions to its clients including design, sensing cable selection and application,commissioning, data interpretation and on-site or remote service and support. We are looking for a project manager to lead the execution of projects in the drinking water sector, utilizing our DALI system (see fluves.com/dali).

 

YOUR ROLE

You will lead installations and projects for water utility companies worldwide (i.e.drinking water and sewer companies). Your day-to-day tasks will consist of both project management as well as on-site project execution work and will include frequent short-term travel (roughly 5-10 trips of one week per year).

Management tasks include:

·       Coordinate and support the successful execution of DALI monitoring projects from the sales closing until the successful project completion.

·       Be the first point of contact with the client throughout the project, and communicate with other stakeholders such as partners,subcontractors and regulators.

·       Keep projects on budget and on schedule, and coordinate the allocation of staff and technical resources.

·       Keep track of the deliverables from the sales process to the execution in the field, ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction while maintaining project profitability.

Project execution tasks include:

·       On-site or remote installation, commissioning and validation (SAT) of fiber optic monitoring systems and associated tasks,including preparation and reporting.

·       Preparation and performance of laboratory tests or factory acceptance tests (FAT).

·       Customer training at Fluves or at their site.

·       Periodic analysis and reporting of monitoring systems in operation.

·       Technical support for customers.

·       Technical documentation and project drawings.

·       Contribution to prospection & pre-salesactivities in collaboration with our sales team.

YOUR PROFILE

·       You are a pragmatic problem solver: you get things done through excellent communication with the client, with subcontractors, and with the rest of the team.

·       You have a master's degree in industrial, civil,chemical, mechanical or electrical engineering or similar, or equivalent through experience.

·       You have practical professional experience inutilities, contracting (e.g. civil or offshore contractors), industry(chemical, metallurgical, energy, ...), or (academic) research (including extensive field work).

·       You are fluent in English with strong communication skills. Knowledge of other languages is a strong advantage.  

·       You convince through a self-responsible and solution-oriented way of working.

·       You are flexible and ready to travel.

·       Working experience with GIS or CAD software is desirable.

·       Knowledge of fiber optics is a plus.

·       Knowledge and interest in programming, or Python scripting is a plus.
